There is no proof you can site that Mohammed was 'Demon Possessed'.

He heard voices, a classic symptom of schizophrenia, the mondern "evil spirit" free way of describing "demon possession" to those who refuse to believe in demons on religious "scientific" grounds.

The entire Koran was transcribed from the voices he heard. (Which might explain the contents)...

The Harris County District Attorney announced today that his office plans no more prosecutions in the drowning deaths of Andrea Pia Yates' five children last year. Said husband Russell Yates, right, "Obviously that's good news."

Yeah, the absence of justice in the murders of each of his children is real good news. How obvious that when 5 children are murdered, the confessed killer should only be prosecuted and tried for three murders.

I don't know who was worse him or all the idjits who are still asking today, hours after the fact, if his mother is alright. Lord, give me patience. Like they wouldn't have heard from Mr Hysteria if she were not fine ! Do those people rely on FR threads alone for their news ? Did he have a computer at the airport ? or in this critical national emedrgency was he able to pull it together long enough to go home and prepare that thtead ? If you were that over wrought would you even think about posting a thread until you had "Mom" back safe and sound ?

It looks as if a couple of other post were pulled also and that FReepers at #'s 13, 22, 24 & 29 saw the harmless humor in your post. Number 22 had an excellant bit of advise for franic son. LOL. I loved #30's hilarious sacrasm. FOFL. It could be said for so many pointless responses. Hehehe. I expect I'll use it sometime real soon.

Did anybody really think they were gonna go after the dad? And it's not like they're gonna do anything else to her either. There was too much sympathy for her. I guess I am callous. I didn't have much. My thoughts were a lot more with those poor children.

I could understand if the entire thread was pulled, but why just a handful of silly posts? I guess we were obligated to worry and fuss over pp's mom, and if we didn't offer up prayers for her on the thread, or condemnation of the airlines, we were brutes.
I can't imagine starting an FR thread if one of my kids was late coming home from school and I learned the bus had been mysteriously diverted to another town and no one would explain anything to me. I would band with other parents and find out what the heck is going on immediately. Weren't their other people at the airport concerned for the safety of the passengers they were to meet?

I would not call Jesus a liar, but all we have is the words the gospels claim he said. They are self evidently liars since they contradict each other in many places. They can not even agree on Jesus lineage, or on the words of the Lords Prayer. If Jesus wrote anything we didn't get it.

By the way the Southern Baptist and Roller preachers who claim that Islam is demonic are the same ones who say all Catholics are damned because they are not real Christians, and in private say all protestants except those in their sect are surely damned.

I believe in demonic possession, I just haven't seen any evidence in this case.

I never said Mohamed wasn't crazy, though certainly no crazier than Saul of Tarsus.

The Koran was transcribed from the memories of those close to Mohamed a generation after his death, making it about as unreliable as the New Testament, and for the same reason. In the Case of the New Testiment we have the advantage of books by multiple authors that can be tested against each other to aproach the truth.

You know perfectly well why they tried her for only three of the murders. It was so that if they got a California jury that found her not guilty, they could then try her for the other two.

While it might give you vicarious satisfaction to go through the whole business again, it would make no difference in the result and would cause unnecessary pain to everyone even peripherally involved.

Nope, not home yet...hehehehe still in the UK. Arrived this evening in Abroath Scotland..suprised the hell out of \heather and she did not kill me...someone around these parts said if I showed up unannounced like this you'd kill me. well her kids kept her guessing as to what was up..we got a picture of her at the door. \you would have thought the guy with the zillion dollars from publisherss clearing house was at the door. But it was just little ole me with a pressie for self defense just incase she was gonna kill me LOL. Heather is ROFLOL. :^). We are having a lot of fun here....got her introduced to FreeRepublic..had to come all the way from California to get her on line..heheheehehe. So when you see Scotslass pop up you will know who it is. Now Ratty and Swervie, you be nice to her..no funny stuff...Catpuppy, how is Crusher?
