But we are not in a war. Congress has not seen fit to recognize, let alone declare, a war...

When American military are being killed overseas at the hands of others and when American civilians are being murdered by the thousands in terrorist attacks here at home, it is war regardless of what some in Congress might say. When one sees the mangled bodies of friends and watches the flag draped coffins roll by, whether Congress has made war official is of little concern.

Sadly, it is still of LEGAL concern. Those bitches, and sons of bitches, can't be accused of treason in the absence of a formal Congressional Declaration of War.

It makes a HUGE legal difference, and Congress KNOWS it...
