Christian preachers today condemn the behavior of Abraham and Sarah. No one recommends that husbands and wives follow the example of their fear and unfaithfulness. No one insists that what they did was righteous. No one is beheaded for questioning Abraham's judgement.
King David was chastised and punished by prophets and God for his dispicable behavior regarding Bathsheba and her husband. No preacher today says he was right. Christians and Jews are not obligated to defend his lust and treachery to prove their own religious fervor.
The people recorded in the Holy Bible are all fallible and justly criticized for one reason or another as we learn what to do and what not to do in the lessons handed down through them. There is only One man in the Bible revered as the perfect Lamb, and He did not act in faithlessness.

Good job. That may be the first post you have posted about Christianity, that I have completely agreed with.
There is hope for you, yet. (Much to 'Their' chagrin)
