The discussion that Alan had on his show last night had to do with the words of Jesus, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me." AND in discussing the performance of "miracles" as in the case of Jesus, or supernatural acts in the case of Mohammed, Jesus said when He was accused of casting out demons by the power of Satan that it could not be done because "a house divided against itself cannot stand."
"If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast {them} out? For this reason they will be your judges. "But I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. "Or how can anyone enter the strong man's house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong {man?} And then he will plunder his house. "He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters." (Matthew 12:27-30)
There is much in the scriptures about the spirits of the prophets being subject to the prophets and testing the spirits whether they be from God, but the point is, every spirit that is of God declares that Jesus is the Christ. To proclaim otherwise makes Jesus a liar.
"do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the {spirit} of the antichrist,(1 John 4:1-3)
I would not call Jesus a liar, but all we have is the words the gospels claim he said. They are self evidently liars since they contradict each other in many places. They can not even agree on Jesus lineage, or on the words of the Lords Prayer. If Jesus wrote anything we didn't get it.
By the way the Southern Baptist and Roller preachers who claim that Islam is demonic are the same ones who say all Catholics are damned because they are not real Christians, and in private say all protestants except those in their sect are surely damned.
