If Wikipedia refers to The State of The Union as an ANNUAL event, shouldn’t we be hearing a date set soon? Can this event be strongly encouraged by our Representatives and Senators?

“Are you a Trump supporter now?” is the question my friends, acquaintances, and colleagues sometimes ask me. I know the answer to that question could end our relationship. So do they. Most of the time, they just don’t ask. They quietly assume that I might be, but what they don’t know can’t hurt them. Since 2016, being labeled “Trump supporter,” has given most people the green light to cut ties, publicly humiliate, attack, and dehumanize at will. What you will rarely see on the Left is empathy. What has become all too common is unfiltered, bottomless hatred. In too many...

Judicial Watch announced today it received 25 pages of records in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from the Washington, DC Department of Transportation which show the cost to taxpayers to repaint the Black Lives Matter slogan on a street in the nation’s capital was over $270,000. (The repainting seems to have taken place shortly before Black Lives Matter groups began defending Hamas terrorist murders of Jews in Israel.)

The words "cynical" and "selfish" come to mind. As does the word "hypocritical." In a move typical of big city politicians who view themselves as more important than the plebeians they claim to serve, Columbus City Council members have gifted themselves armed police officers for personal protection. These officers have not been added to the Columbus police force, but transferred from their job protecting ordinary citizens to their new job protecting individual council members. From the Columbus Dispatch: Columbus taxpayers will pay $315,314 per year to have three full-time city police officers assigned to a security detail to protect...

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell bluntly warned Republican senators in a private meeting not to sign on to a bill from Sen. Josh Hawley aimed at limiting corporate money bankrolling high-powered outside groups, telling them that many of them won their seats thanks to the powerful super PAC the Kentucky Republican has long controlled. According to multiple sources familiar with the Tuesday lunch meeting, McConnell warned GOP senators that they could face “incoming” from the “center-right” if they signed onto Hawley’s bill. He also read off a list of senators who won their races amid heavy financial support from the...

Citizens in two countries are reminding Americans that Second Amendment rights and a robust firearm and ammunition manufacturing base cannot be taken for granted. Israel is preparing for a ground invasion into Gaza after more than 1,400 of their citizens fell victim to Hamas terrorists storming into their homes, murdering, torturing and dragging off innocent civilians as hostages. That nation’s response was to streamline firearm permits and order Israeli Defense Forces to distribute tens of thousands of firearms for self-defense. Meanwhile, Canada is hitting the pause button on their forced confiscation of privately-owned semiautomatic rifles. Officials there are finding...

The Republicans opposing Rep. Jim Jordan's bid for speaker made themselves known on the House floor in the first roll call vote Tuesday to elect a new speaker of the House, and with 20 voting against him, he failed to secure a majority in the first round. When the vote finished, this was the final tally: Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries, of New York, had 212 votes, those of every Democrat, Jordan had 200 GOP votes, six Republicans voted for former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, seven voted for House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three voted for former Rep. Lee Zeldin,...

Hezbollah has just attacked Israel from Lebanon. Israel is now fighting a war on terror on TWO FRONTS! This two-front conflict is the direct result of the weakness of the Benedict Biden administration, best exemplified by its unconditional surrender in Afghanistan, AND BY ITS RANSOM PAYMENTS TO IRAN! That gave Russia a green light to invade Ukraine; then the weak Biden gave $6 billion IN RANSOM MONEY to Iran which was used to finance this attack. And now the Taliban, to whom Benedict Biden left $87 billion of US military equipment, wants to join the attack on the Jews, opening...

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven," preached Rev. John Peter Muhlenberg, from the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1. He closed his message by saying: "In the language of the Holy Writ, there is a time for all things. There is a time to preach and a time to fight. And now is the time to fight." John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg was a 30 year old member of the Virginia House of Burgesses, who was also a pastor. At the end of his sermon, January 21, 1776, John Peter Muhlenberg threw off his clerical...

***FEDERAL*** EMTALA EMTALA care provision responsibility would be limited to one episode per patient in any 365 day period excluding paid-up previous visits, with a limit waiver to be at least $200 in cash or its equivalent. EMTALA care uniformly billed at no more than 300% of Medicare amounts, including interest and late and other charges, could be collected in the manner of federal student loan debt. PPACA SUBSIDY CAPS PPACA subsidies would be limited to no more than 90% of policy cost instead of the 98% now. It is absurd that Mr. Recipient Democrat might pay $14/month for the...

Former President Donald Trump has infamously attacked the judge presiding over his civil trial in New York for business fraud with regular frequency as the case has moved forward, so legal observers were surprised to learn that his legal team had declined to request a jury trial — leaving the ultimate verdict solely in that one judge’s hands. New York Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit against the Trump Organization seeks penalties of $250 million and to ban Trump and his adult children from doing business in New York. Judge Arthur Engoron already dealt a sharp blow to Trump last week,...

‘He’s the past’: Poll indicates that Biden ‘doesn’t have much to say’ among voters A new poll finding Joe Biden struggling to gain approval indicates that among some groups of voters, the US President “doesn’t have much to say,” according to political journalist John Fund. “He’s the past, and they’re unhappy with their current condition,” Mr Fund told Sky News host James Morrow. “For a Democrat – think about this – for the next 13 months, you have to place your bet that Joe Biden will not show such weakness that people will say we can’t afford another four years...

Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Yuri Kim declared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Sept. 14, “We will not tolerate any attack on the people of Nagorno-Karabakh.” Five days later, as Azerbaijan broke its ceasefire agreement, Secretary of State Antony Blinken chided, “The use of force to resolve disputes is unacceptable,” but he threatened no consequence. The next day, Nagorno-Karabakh’s self-governing, democratic Armenian enclave surrendered. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev crowed triumphant. He called America’s bluff and crossed Washington’s redline without consequence. Blinken may not care about Nagorno-Karabakh’s Christian community any more than he cared about Nigeria’s....

McLean Police District — The Tysons Urban Team (TUT) unit has taken down yet another organized theft ring from New York and recovered thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise. Yesterday, TUT detectives were contacted at 9:09 p.m. by an employee from the Sunglass Hut store regarding a theft that just occurred. Suspects were seen on surveillance still inside the mall. Detectives found all three suspects and took them into custody. Approximately $15,000 worth of stolen merchandise was recovered. The stolen merchandise was found to belong to several businesses inside Tysons Corner Center to include Express, H&M, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Victoria’s Secret,...

In the legal world there is a Latin term in terrorem. The term is used to describe actions designed to intimidate or terrorize someone into a certain course of conduct, often in cases where the actual legal ability or willingness to demand that course of conduct are dubious. In short, rule through fear rather than legitimacy or the law. In terrorem is an apt descriptor for the Biden administration’s notice of proposed rulemaking misinterpreting the statutory definition of “engaged in the business” of dealing firearms. The draft rule appears designed to give the public the misimpression that private individuals...

As Kevin McCarthy and key House committees supposedly ramp up their investigations, it's to the American people to make sure a real investigation is conducted, not one for show, demanding transparency and accountability from the Biden administration.
