This is a video of Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi that was shown on Jihadi Television (Al-Jazeera Arabic, Qatar). In the video, Al-Qaradhawi says that "Allah imposed Hitler upon the Jews to punish them - Allah willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers."

That's an interesting point, and one I actually agree with. Although I call allah by a different name, "satan".
Satan imposed the Liberal God, Pelosi and Reid to destroy the USA.
The only thing wrong with the Crusades was they weren’t effective. Should have siezed Mecca and correctly dealt with the religious leaders who had said convert or be killed.
There were some mistakes like sacking Constaninople. Never loose control of your army and never let the “leader” of the army leave to go see his counsin, and never let your army fail to have enough $$ to pay for its own transportation costs. In short the Crusades were a good idea but should not have been under control of the Church. Churchmen do not study military strategy enough to be any good at it.

the fact that the mind-boggingly open anti-semitism in the arab world isn’t openly reported on (actually at all) here is nothing but overt control/manipulation of US public opinion by our media.

This ‘mistake’ of the fourth crusade (I imagine the actual army was not unhappy with the arrangement by the time it happened) may have had very long-reaching impact on european history. How would things have been different in the following centuries without this event?
