The rock star on stage yesterday at the Berry Center was Ted Nugent who “got out of a Texas deer stand” to come and play the National Anthem. The rock star reception; however, was reserved for the event headliner, Sarah Palin. The former governor of Alaska did not fail to deliver.

-"Perry took the microphone first, which at first seemed odd. One would assume the candidate would go last after a rousing introduction by the guest (Palin). However,...Sarah had been the draw for the event.

So Sarah even overshadows the candidate and 'sitting Governor' of the state. Looks like Sarah already has "Texas" all wrapped up for the Republican 2012 primary.
