There has only been one other time where I have publicly written about any of my dreams and it was right here on FR. It was back in 2000 and I can't look past 2001 in my replies to search for it and document it.
My first time to dream this dream was the 21st. This reply of mine shows that I was up very early that morning also. I woke up out of the dream shortly before that reply. Though I didn't write then about the dream I feel it is right to write about it now. I feel some compunction on writing about the repeat dream that I've now had in the last two days as some will think I'm "way wacked". Nevertheless, an urging to write about it is upon me. I feel the compulsion of the Holy Spirit to do so, and I shall.
(if you aren't a religious person then just chalk it up under the "weird" topic as I've already selected)
Anyway, in my dream I'm working with a friend of mine (though which friend it is has never been clear in either dream) on the side a tower in a petrochemical refinery, (which is doubly strange as I've not worked in a refinery for almost 4 years now).
In the next instant, somehow, his sister is standing there on the catwalk with us. Perhaps she simply climbed up to the catwalk from the ladder well. Nonetheless, she immediately gets shot and falls wounded into my arms. In the first dream her brother and I tie a bowline on her and lower her to the ground where help is rendered by plant emergency responders.
I felt compelled to write about the dream then and yet I dismissed it. (which is not a good thing to do IMO) Tonight I'm writing about my dream to get the onus of the Holy Spirit off of my back. My obligation is fulfilled upon completion of this.
This time the dream was slightly different. The dream starts out as before where we're both working on the catwalk and when his sister pops in and gets shot I get the feeling that the shooter is still out there and we need to get her to a safe location. We lower her down a couple of catwalks and bring here around to the opposite side of the tower from where we were working. I tell the brother to wait with her while I go get help.
Yet when I get back neither the brother nor his sister are where I left them and after asking around I'm told that the brother went down the tower to get, of all things, a Pepsi and his sister is nowhere to be found!
And tonight, unlike the night of the 21st, I woke up in a sweaty panic since there was a wounded, unattended person who needed help and who wasn't where she was supposed to be.
I'm not looking for interpretations, I'm just documenting it per my personal religious convictions. Comments are welcome, though I doubt if they'll be of help.
May the Holy Spirit guide us all in our lives.
Many people have recurring dreams. I’ve had several, though none of mine have involved personal injuries or rescues.

I don’t usually remember my dreams but I’ve had this “feeling” for the last year or so. This country has taken a mortal blow and most people are more interested in “going out for a Pepsi”.
Related to your dream? don’t know.
The girl represents the US Constitution, the shooter is the MSM (Always out there) the Pepsi is original sin. No Charge...
Seems as if the sister represents a wounded America and her brother getting a Pepsi represents the majority of Americans who are not concerned about the “wound” America has suffered over the past hundred years.
You are being told in your dream that you cannot save the sister or cause the brother to put down his Pepsi; however, you can prepare your heart, and mind to accept those things that are coming our way. Do not panic! Through understanding and prayer become a leader, pray for the guidance that will help you and your friends make it through the coming chaos.
Last week I had a fellow confide in me that he dreamed three times that, after he delivered a one-way truckload to the northwest US, on his flight back to PHX, his plane went down, and on the way down, he was telling his seatmate how to give his heart to the Lord. That flight is scheduled for tomorrow. He says he never has recurring dreams (which makes him similar to me in that regard). So this one scares him.
Who knows what these things mean? One can only hope it’s due to a slight fever, some medication, or maybe one too many tamales.

I rarely remember my dreams and I rarely have recurring dreams so the ones that I do remember, or wake up to, have special significance to me.
Migraine...So this one scares him.
I had one like that way back in the late '80s. I dreamed that I slipped and fell off of a storage vessel we were sandblasting. Despite being confident in properly tying myself off I quit that morning when we showed up for work. I related my dream to my boss as the reason why I quit the job and he was mad. I apologized for quitting and went home anyway. (needless to say he never called me back to work for him again)
Tell him it might be worth his while to get home in a different manner than flying.
It is a message for YOU....

Dreams are “house-cleaning” for the brain ... after a day’s work ...
It’s re-indexing, linking up memories, categorizing, reorganizing, filing, etc. It’s part of maintaining physical functionality.
It’s interesting to see puppies (and dogs) dreaming ... they run and bark and fight, and do all sorts of things in their dreams ... LOL ... I was just raising a puppy here recently (the mother didn’t take care of it ... for some reason), and many times, the puppy would be barking in her sleep. The funny thing about that, is that the puppy never barked when she was awake! ... :-) [only about six to eight weeks old, at that time]
I would say that we have much more complex dreaming than animals, but we’re still just as “physical” as they are and there are things that have to be done at night, as part of maintaining the brain and reorganizing things to get ready again for another day.
If you go without sleep for a long while, it interferes with your brain in what it should be doing to take care of itself at night with dreaming — and “dreaming breaks out” when you’re awake ... “lucid dreams” or “hallucinations” ... if one runs into that situation — just get some sleep and they will go away (normally, they do ... :-) ...).
For me, I don’t remember dreaming very much, and if I do, I forget it really fast and I never think about it, anyway. It would be like trying to figure out why a computer is re-indexing files in the middle of the night ... :-)

From what I’ve studies and close attention to the subject of dreaming and spirituality, I believe some in the angelic domain are able to perceive our thinking. Perhaps not everything, but it appears as though our some of our thinking processes are available to them.
Some dreams might be a programming of communication, using the thoughts in our memories, as building blocks or functionals, to form situations to our mental or spiritual perception.
Meanwhile, there also are some things we have never been exposed to or experienced, which might pop up, not only in our active dreaming, but in our thinking are able to later recall and remember the thought process from the dream.
Some people have been exposed to foreign languages in dreams, even have been able to sing a song in a foreign language which they had never been exposed to from their physical experience, and later are told by others that the song, even the wording and phrases are explicit verses in a 100 year old tune from the opposite side of the globe.
I’ve had some dreams in Greek, Hebrew, and Sanskrit, from later investigation, trying to discern what the figures meant. I’ve met others who have been able to sing a song in German from the early 1900s which they had never heard before and were explicit in the language according to some German visitors who met the fellow later.
In some cases, dreams are used as a testing mechanism. Just as we grow through faith in Christ in or daily intake of Bible doctrine, we slowly grow in Him, then we are tested in those areas to see if we apply that doctrine in our exposure to life with Him. Where we remain in faith with Him, we continue to advance. Other times we slip and He continues to grow us in a fashion to better meet His Plan. These tests also serve to glorify Christ, manifesting our faith in Him and with Him, not only to us, but perhaps also to the angelic domain.
(now on a lighter note, the Pepsi thing must be demonic,...only socialists drink Pepsi, ...real conservatives drink Coke, generally Classic Coke, and sometimes Diet Coke,...but drinking Pepsi can lead to even more degenerate behavior, even to the extent of liking cats over dogs. Dreaming about Pepsi is a sad commentary on the spiritual domain. What a decrepit subject to waste one’s thinking if even in a dream....professional help, or at least a 20 Oz bottle of Diet Coke is recommended. <;^))
