Early this morning, it has been reported, first by the Day of New London and WTIC AM 1080″ sports news reported that Robert G. Burton, of Greenwich, CT, USA, and a printing company magnate, sent a six-page letter to the University of Connecticut Athletic Director Jeff Hathaway, reasons being that there was a number of major disagreements by Mr. Burton of the managing style of Mr. Hathaway.
In other words, a major donor family calls it QUITS.

I guess their educational abilities should also "be addressed".
That should read "then there are issues in the front office that MUST BE addressed." LOL
I missed that one, but did pick up on the misspelling of "SUCESSFUL".
Oh, and it's not about getting the donor getting his money back, as his
requested the remainder of his football scholarships donation to
go to the b-school.
Universities in the US are about to crash hard. For decades their overheated growth has been far beyond sustainability, with the institution split in two: money making athletics on one side, and money making academics on the other side.
On one hand, it is like a State subsidized minor league for the NFL, and on the other a paper mill for worthless degrees, subsidized with bloated student loans.
Public universities have become both a big obstacle to higher education and a way of depriving business of four of their employees most productive years. This has to end.
