Is John Paulk ready to renounce his ex-gay gospel?
Proud Queer Monthly ^ | April 18, 2013 | Byron Beck

“Until recently, I have struggled all my life in feeling unloved and unaccepted,” Paulk said. “I have been on a journey during the last few years in trying to understand God, myself, and how I can best relate to others. During this journey I have made many mistakes and I have hurt many people including people who are close to me. I have also found a large number of people who accept me for who I am regardless of my past, any labels, or what I do.”

Paulk continued, “I no longer support the ex-gay movement or efforts to attempt to change individuals — especially teens who already feel insecure and alienated. I feel great sorrow over the pain that has been caused when my words were misconstrued. I have worked at giving generously to the gay community in Portland where I work and live. I am working hard to be authentic and genuine in all of my relationships.”

What does he think of NAMBLA, schools, media and the homo movement trying to change people... KIDS... from straight to gay?

Protestants come home to the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church believes, and always will, that practicing gays can change their ways.

Yeah, and he has either bent over or knelt before them and accepted what they had to offer.

Some people are unloved because they genuinely are not very lovable.

Maybe he should consider that.

What about people who came to Christ or take away the moral aspect and for those who came to realize that they were being influenced to a direction of a behavior that was made from pressure or manipulation. Please, 2 stories in the media of this in one day. This fellow seems to want to be liked. This does not fit for every person that could see the service as being helpful.

The crowd he’s chosen to identify with accepts anything, the sicker the better. Selfish. He should have passed on having kids.

Was he ever truly a follower of Christ? And how is he doing with his mother and father?

You are so right. Many people struggle with inner problems in many areas. They get up and go to work everyday. This blabbermouth thinks everyone wants to hear his every thought.

I have been on a journey during the last few years in trying to understand ...

Whenever you see the word "journey," expect a load of self-absorbed Leftist drivel to follow.

Sad that the Left has ruined some perfectly good words. "Gay." "Journey." "Marriage."

Oddly enough, not Joy, Repentence or Matrimony. They don’t like those words.

These sodomites think they cannot change yet they believe heterosexuals should become homosexuals so they recruit in our schools.

I wish him a lot of luck on his self-imposed journey through the life-shortening world of male sodomy . . . and just because he didn’t have the courage to try to change.

An examination of his life up until this point as well as of his Christianity would reveal some defects in his beliefs I’m sure. When the foundation is faulty, the entire house is unstable. And a ministry partnering with the godless religion of Psychiatry is an extremely faulty foundation.

Yet when homosexualists try to seduce “former” or “questioning” heterosexuals, well, they are just helping them to BE who they REALLY are.

Isn’t that special?

It’s like Islam’s diversity. A one way street.

“Protestants come home to the Catholic Church.” Sorry...Catholicism has absolutely no attraction to this Christian. It is built mostly on unscriptural traditions. So why would that be attractive to me? Catholicism is not “home.”
