Oliver Sacks, the Neurologist, was a brilliant clinician and proficient writer. He was a celibate homosexual. I’m surprised to see him on the list. He wrote the story that was adapted into the movie “Awakenings” with Robin Williams
I thought I recently read Sacks had a long term ma!e lartner. He was a great man, tho. I enjoyed his book, “The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat”, a collection of unusual cases.
That’s a surprise to me as well. I’m familiar with the movie Awakenings and also his book “The Man who Mistook his Wife for a Hat” which is a fascinating read.
How do you KNOW someone was a celibate homosexual??
