Is this COVID-19 the same as the Chinese Virus?
My goal now is to move away from California.
Now that is a great collection of names!
I’m very sorry. I’ve had cancer too (borderline ovarian). Has your doctor not yet reopened?
Cancer screening must resume.
I delayed mine from April to May and will reschedule to June but no more. . .
You should be able to see a doctor. Find a new one of yours is closed. There is no waiting when it comes to cancer.
I’ve been getting my treatments during this. No one should have to wait especially if they have it or have had it. No one.
And that's only a small sample. My oldest son is 53, and has had a fascination with Germany since high school. He took German in college, and then years later retook classes to immerse himself back into the language. Up until a couple of years ago, he would travel to Germany at least once a year, and each time he would add another country or two to his itinerary. I could never understand why he picked Germany since back when his fascination started, we knew nothing of the family connection. But in a way, it's similar to my longtime interest in British history. I knew I had one line on my mother's side that had come from England, and settled in the area of Long Island, but then moved to Dutchess County. After doing some early family research in Canada, I learned that I had both Patriots and Tories in that line. But then when I started working on the family tree again, I found out just how wide the connection to Britain and Wales really was.
Its amazing how people travel, mingle, combine, move to new places.
My moms side is from Canada and before that England. A relative on my dads side (German) married an Englishman and moved to England. Today I found that my moms fathers side came from Germany and I found the same family name on my Dads side. How weird would it be for families to unknowingly get married after four or five generations?
Ive had a lot of interest in my Dads German side for a long time. I sure wish Id had the interest 40 or 50 years ago when I could have interviewed people when they were alive.
Both sets of grandparents were dead before I was born in 1947. My mother knew nothing, and always told us there were no relatives on her side. And of course I ended up finding out it was not true. My father was basically the same as he came here when he was around 8, so I was working from scratch.
My mother would have been shocked to learn that there were Dutch connections on her side as my father was born in Holland. One time, many years ago when my sons were little, I asked my mother if her and Dad could be related because us four kids were so screwed up. She replied: "That's a terrible thing to say." Now I wonder. She's probably laughing with me in heaven right now. My Dad also used to tease her and say she was Scottish, and she'd tell him to stop saying it. And that turned out to be true too...a little wee bit anyway. Robert the Bruce is supposed to be my 20th Great-Grandfather. And on the other side of the spectrum, Edward I "Longshanks" Plantagenet, King of England, is supposed to be my 20th Great-grandfather too. They definitely never had Sunday dinner together, more like a Sunday battle. It's strange how family connections can be so crazy.
bkmk
failure implies some failing on your own part.
This is government meddling without liability or consequence or recompense. In fact it could be said that democrats and global interests want you to “fail” for their own power advantage.
My husband was finally able to get a hold of him last week and I talked to him. He said he was going to look into my chart and see about a PET scan. He said he is going to try opening in the beginning of June.
I hope you’re able to get in to see yours soon.
One of my doctors is opening in the beginning in June. I saw someone in urgent care over a kidney issue that is unrelated and he felt the nodules and told me to see him as soon as possible. My oncologist cancelled my appt in June that was made months ago a few days ago. I’m looking for a new oncologist anyway because I can’t stand her. She messed up my treatments. I’ve dealt with so many cancellations and closings, it’s been frustrating.
My docs have been good. Sorry for the problems you are having. They saw me for the scheduled treatment although they changed the appointment time and I will be seen again in a few weeks for the checking to make sure it hasn’t come back. It actually was a lot nicer in the office since the changes. They scheduled it so I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room. There was the receptionist, the doc and the nurse and no other patients, they didn’t ask to see any insurance card or ID and I left through the back door. lol
Yes. New goal: Look for real estate in Belize.
That’s great that you have good doctors. I pray all goes well for you.
I pray for you. I have been surprised.
Thank you.
