The Drudge Report’s apparent decision to cater content to a political demographic that has zero overlap with his audience of two decades hasn’t been going well for the site.
While I’m surprised he’s not down 100%, Drudge has hemorrhaged nearly half of his audience over the past year.

Comscore data also put Drudge’s viewers at 1.488 million unique visitors in July, down 38% from July of 2019.
About a year ago, in August 2019, the site was posting “well over 100 million” readers. The site’s recent numbers mark a steep 40% decline year over year. They also mark Drudge’s lowest numbers in decades.

Drudge dug its own grave by going left. It used to be the first site I checked every morning. Now I don’t check it all.

Posted already but always happy to hear the good news again. Drudge was my landing page for nearly two decades. He had a good run. But I never go there anymore.
Now if we could just get the NFL’s viewership down that far. I watched brady on week one, Russell Wilson week 2. Raiders can’t miss but that’s it.
Too bad that my internet activity didn’t contribute to this decline. It’s been a trash site for quite a while.

I stopped going to Drudge when it became a hub for sex-bot and animal abuse stories. There were so many of the latter I figured he was turning into one of those sick scum that gets off on it. I didn’t glom on to the lib support stuff until I read about it here.
