I think the plan is to just smear him until the midterms, then smear him again around the 2024 election.
If we can give him enough votes in the primaries, we can still elect him. We need to be smarter and more sane, though.
What’s the enemy’s goal? 1/ Radicalize the Republican base and goad us into doing and saying violent things that will sour independents and moderates on the GOP brand? 2/ Bar Trump from running for President again so we’ll be stuck with some Romney type quisling in 2024 and won’t have “45” to rally around for the upcoming midterms? 3/ Level counter charges against Trump because his charges of voter fraud are gaining traction? 4/ Actually start a civil war that will benefit Red China and the march toward one world government? Some or all of the above?
The enemy isn’t scaring me much regardless. They’ve been underestimating Trump for seven years now. The “experts” said he wouldn’t run for President at all. Then they said he was just gathering material for a new “reality” game show. Then they said the Donald couldn’t possibly win any primaries, that voters would come back from summer vacation and switch to “serious candidates” such as Jeb. Oh, Trump insulted the “mighty war hero” McCain! It’s over now! The convention delegates will “dump” that “racist orange man” for a “real Republican” like Romney or Ryan at the convention. The “pussy tape” is the end of Trump at last! The wagering websites are paying out Hillary bets early. She’s going to win by 15 points and carry Texas! That “clown” Trump is going to make America a one party (Democrat) state...
