"Not content with just spying on your online purchases, way too big leftist megacorp Amazon (founded by Jeff Bezos, who still owns the DC ComPost sleezepaper, which murders our Republic daily no matter the lighting or weather) today dropped iRobot into it’s cart.
The move adds to Amazon’s holdings of 40 subsidiaries and counting. Among the companies they already use to spy on and control you are: Amazon itself (duh), FreeVee streamer..."

It isn’t paranoia if they are really out to get you.
No more Amazon for us.
Amazon free since 2015!
Sooo...those little robots will become little spies....and here I was thinking of purchasing one for new hardwood floors...alternate suggestions, anyone?
You know they are spying on you when you log in to Amazon Prime with a VPN and everything is fine until you want to watch any of their streaming content. It won’t let you with a VPN. The only reason for this is to spy on you.
Roomba cuts shipping costs because they deliver themselves.....
Big tech is getting bigger and bigger
Avoid at all costs
Easily bypassed like all IoT things. Get cheapo extra router (used old model, maybe $30 or $50) and do not connect it to the internet or your main network.
Connect IoT things through this other router so they can’t talk to the world, only in the little network that is your home.
(There are fancier ways with subnet configurations but this is very easy and very transparent).
“And our children will live, Mr. Beale, to see that perfect world in which there’s no war or famine, oppression or brutality — one vast and ecumenical holding company, for whom all men will work to serve a common profit, in which all men will hold a share of stock, all necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused.” - Arthur Jensen (Network)
Having purchased a robovac, we have come to the conclusion that they are NOT worth having in the house at all. Hence, we don’t have one and will not in the future.
Oh great. So now the Roomba will be spying on us.
Successful companies need to do something with their cash, so they expand and expand into increasingly diverse markets. This is called di-worse-ification. They are unable to manage the increasingly complex organization and they begin to hemorrhage money. Think Sears. Think Honeywell and IBM.
These are different times and there may be different management tools available. But, in general, Amazon is on a proven path to self-destruction.
Are we to boycott all online and brick & mortar businesses that do not meet our Conservative or Christian expectations? What do we do should ALL businesses fall short of our expectations? What do we do if the thing we need is only available through a 'woke' business?
There is a time to boycott a business/company. The reasoning for doing so can vary among Christians & Conservatives.
I hope he make a cheaper Roomba. For a long time they were $99 for the basic model, but last time I looked, the cheapest one was over $300.
We had a Roomba in its early days.
Our chow chow used to follow it around the house—pawing at it—howling at it—and eventually attacking it!
So, what is a Christians or Conservative to do?
From a worldly perspective they dispersed and grouped up.
An echo is the 2nd amendment. IT is not about guns, it is about the militia, the grouping up.
Not to worry, soon the left will be filing lawsuits to get endangered species designation for dust mites.
I know this site has an entire section for blogs, but this is just silly nonsense. IMHO.
