There is no racial group known as “Palestinians’’.

Palestinians are ethnic Jordanians.

The Palestinians have rejected a two state solution many times, maybe as many as 5 times. They insist on a single state solution that includes no Jews. And they have a plan as to what to do with the Jews.

The word Palestine derives from Philistia, the name the Greeks gave to the region of the Land of Canaan where the Philistines settled.

Hadrian chose the name ‘Syria Palaestina’ because the Philistines once had been the hereditary enemies of the Jews. But centuries before Hadrian, the Philistines already had been all but exterminated by King Nebuchadnezzar II (the same Nebuchadnezzar who was responsible for the sacking of the first temple of Solomon). What few Philistines escaped the slaughter were absorbed into the surrounding Arab groups and the Philistines ceased to exist as an identifiable ethnicity or culture.

Archaeology and DNA testing has shown that the Philistines were NOT of middle-eastern extraction, and NOT Semitic. They originally were a sea-faring people, probably from Asia Minor or the Aegean Sea.

Which begs the question, how could they be the modern-day descendants of a group whose ethnicity they do not share, and who have been extinct for more than two and a half millennia?
