I have identical twin girls. Only one has a small brown birthmark just under the collarbone. Their daycare provider could never tell them apart. One day as they had just arrived, she asked them “Now which one are you?” The one with birthmark looked down her shirt at her birthmark and then said “I am “L___”.” I still laugh about that one and they just turned 46...lol
I have ifentical twin grand daughters, now 13 years old and the only way I can tell them apart to this day is when one speaks, Hope’s voice has a teeny bit of a lower tone than Faith’s.
One day when they were about 4 or 5 years old, they were sitting in the floor in my living room with their coloring books and they got into an argument about something and Hope came over and sat in my lap, I was consoling her and told her that she was a very pretty little girl, she politely told me “thank you grandpa” then I told her that since her sister looked just like her so that meant that Faith was pretty too.
She put her little hands on my cheeks, looked me square in the eye and said, “No grandpa, Faith’s adopted”.
