For a while now I have been doing math instead of crossword puzzles to keep my mind sharp. I use an AI math site occasionally to help me do proofs. It's pretty amazing so far.

Here's the site I use...mathway.com

I think AI is a tool. Like the internet in general, it can be used for good or evil.

My feeling as well. In my profession (Healthcare) we are using it in a few very good ways that improves the care we give (it isn’t “diagnosing” directly, but indicating that things needing to be viewed by a physician are moved to the front of the line if AI indicates there might be an issue.

We use AI to peek at image sets, and if the AI sees anything suspicious, it takes it to the front of the queue so a human can put eyes on it.

Extremely valuable, especially for stroke patients and pulmonary embolism cases.

But I fear the negative aspects of AI are the ones that are going to get all the attention (and rightly so).

Given my druthers, I would rather have NO AI involvement in our lives if we have to live with the evil side.

And there will be an evil side. (There IS an evil side, and it is already in use)

I use the drawing programs a lot for my daughters business. It’s hard to believe how good they are.
