A hunoid robot does not replace a worker better than a robot specifically made for the job. Think of it. Most people sit at their desk all day. Why have legs. You would not be advantaged by a humanoid robot. It looks eerie. But its not better unless you want the robot to play football or something.

Think about the wheel. When it was invented, thousands of freight draggers were put out of work.
Think about TV repairmen. Lot fewer jobs doing that simply because the TVs are so much more reliable.
