A hunoid robot does not replace a worker better than a robot specifically made for the job. Think of it. Most people sit at their desk all day. Why have legs. You would not be advantaged by a humanoid robot. It looks eerie. But its not better unless you want the robot to play football or something.

That’s what I was thinking. Why would you need “robots that look and act like people”? Wouldn’t it be better if they looked and acted like an autonomous assemblers that need minimal breaks for preventative maintenance?
