I remember bunkers being promoted in 1960 for nuclear war and in the 1980s some tea magnate built one deep in the Ozarks. He found water dripping to be a serious problem.
Many old farms around here have underground cellars for storage and tornadoes.
If these idiots think their private jets will fly them anywhere after an EMP, then they’re too dumb to keep their money. New Zealand? How would they refuel?
I’m not worried about a ground zero type event. My prepper mentality is more centered on the modern parable of the frog dying in slowly boiling water because he thinks the change is small enough to not worry about until it’s too late.
I don’t have the resources to build a bunker. My concerns are more local, like a SWAT team swarming my home because of my posts.
The fact that they are building them on islands and beach front properties puts the whole “climate crisis” skata they shovel in perspective.

(My Opinion): The whole idea is to buy/invest/hold stocks while low in price, ..and sell when value is high .
But when some of the biggest and novel financiers in the nation all make the same move, at the same time, you have to wonder. Right ?nty
Is the driving issue financial, social, immigration, civil disturbance, or just a wise business decision ?

I wonder if the need for those bunkers becomes real and the billionaires show up to enter them and the folks they must have had to hire to maintain them, or the folks that built them and know their secrets are now in charge and them them “Sorry we’re full. Find some place else to crash”.
