I have been going to the same barbers for twenty years. These guys are all from Russia. During the Obama years, one of them looked angrily at the tv and growled, “I moved here to escape this kind of thing!”
A couple of weeks ago another said to me, “ I grew up and became an adult in Moscow during the Soviet Union. This government we have right now is behaving the same way, from gaslighting the citizens about the economy to going after political opponents and making them criminals.”
