Short of nuclear war, it would be a huge effort for ANY nation to destroy all, or even a fraction of Iran's "bases, ports, nuclear plants, refineries and critical infrastructure".
Israel's strike won't be all out war, but a message that Iran's attack won't go unanswered. It will be narrow, and on a military target, with limited casualties. I suspect one of the lessons learned will be that Iran's defenses are nothing like Israel's.
Israel doesn’t need to destroy ALL of Iran’s aforementioned sites. Just enough to severely cripple them.
Definitely the nuclear program, and whatever it takes to take out as many mullahs and the brains behind the terror attacks as possible.
It’s been educational to watch Ukraine use marine drones to sink Russian combat ships. Just think what an advanced manufacturing country like Israel could do with them. Iran has lots of marine facilities.
