I seriously doubt that is what the FBI was after.
I’d bet the ranch that President Trump collected evidence of illegal activities relating to Crossfire Hurricane, the stolen 2020 election, and the January 6 frame up operation.

The Democrats colluded with deep state bureaucrats to commit treason against a duly elected POTUS, and there is no doubt in my mind that, while in office, he gathered the evidence he needs to prove it when push comes to shove. He would have to be stupid not to do that - and he is far from stupid.

That’s what they are after - evidence that could put them in prison, or worse.

Let’s assume that’s what they were after. What’s the purpose and what’s the fear and what’s the end game? If they are classified documents Trump couldn’t leak them. If they were declassified by Trump (which I think is part of his argument) why haven’t they been released. Even if they were contested, the cat would be out of the bag? Is he waiting for an October surprise to spring these documents? Whats the end game, for the DOJ to bury documents that have already left the building, so to speak?

I am open to all sorts of theories here, but it seems to me the actual documents in question are less relevant than just the prosecution. That photo they show in news stories is really just a handful of thin folders and a few pages. Not reams and reams of documents. Maybe there is more than shown in the photo. But showing that photo with maybe 6 or 8 folders marked classified is the proverbial “perp walk”. See, he has these classified folders! Nevermind that just looking at the photos they appear nearly empty and a handful of papers, back sides only, stresno about.
