When have an opportunity to listen to one of the great philosophical minds of today discusses where humanity is headed, you ought to sit up and take notice. Dugin's observations strike me as extremely insightful and accurate. If it's true that Putin listens and takes his lead from this man's thoughts, you have to ask yourself whether it's the West or Putin who best champions the Divine future of mankind.

Dugin is a world-class nutcase. He is no Christian.

Just read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics

Carlson jumped the shark by interviewing Putin....now this.

Also read “The American Empire Should Be Destroyed” by James Heiser.

The fact that the Putin cabal reveres Dugin should scare the pants off you.

The Rev, Jim Jones of his Liberal Democrat Supported, Protected and Endorsed, People's Temple.

SF Bay Area Democrats enjoyed millions of dollars in donations from Jones taken from People's Temple Christian's taxpayer funded welfare payments.

It is highly likely Jones and his Ministry would be closely supervised in Russia.

And they'd all still be alive.

I have no idea what happened to Dugin's daughter and why, but I am inclined to think this Dugin guy is bad news.

From Wikipedia (feel free to counter if you know otherwise):

According to Anton Shekhovtsov, the book's cover contains a depiction of a Chaos Star, a symbol that represents chaos magick in modern occult movements, and the use of the symbol aligns with Dugin's general interest in the occult and occult symbolism. After the publication of the book, Dugin has also used the symbol as the logo of his Eurasia Party.

What is it you people fear about a journalist interviewing controversial characters?

Are you afraid they might make sense? Why is it you have to attack a person for doing their job?

I don’t think Carlson’s interview of Putin was at all much of a positive for Putin.

People make better decisions about people when they know where said person is coming from.

You talk like a Biden RAT.

What I know is that the words coming directly out of Dugan’s mouth make a helluva lot more sense than what I hear coming out every day from the West’s anti-human demonic messaging. His explanation of why the Left’s love affair with the Communist Soviets suddenly flipped to Hillary’s bogeyman ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ ought to tell you something. It also explains the West’s never ending, suicidal crusade now going on against Russia in the Ukraine. Why has Amazon become the 1st Amendment gatekeeper of Dugin’s book? All you find are second hand interpretations of the man and his philosophy. Tucker’s interview provides a unique first hand, direct window into the man’s mind and I didn’t hear anything ‘cultist’ or that sounded alarmist to me. You ought to go back and listen to the interview again. Some may want to take Dugan’s Russian nationalism ideology and spin it negatively into a ‘cultist’ idea as the Left does with Trump’s supporters and his ‘Make America Great’ theme. Remember, personal, independent discernment (not reading second hand spin) is all we have today in trying to reach truth. We are all on our own in this personal quest. And, please turn off Wikipedia.

I certainly make a distinction between the Communist Soviet Union and modern authoritarian, but not totalitarian, Russia.

I do not like the globalists twisting the screws on any country, large or small, that does not capitulate to the global/social revolutionary agenda.

I agree that Amazon should carry the book just as much as they should carry Das Kapital and everything that isn’t pornography (though they have that) or instructions for making nuclear weaponry. Grownups can analyze and discern for themselves.

I have no use for Zelensky, but that doesn’t mean that I think Putin is a good guy. Nobody but the international power brokers, munitions makers and the ChiComs are winning this war, as far as I can tell. Whatever armistice is eventually made will not be materially different than the one that could have been made two years, 25% wiped out infrastructure and 500,000 men ago. (infrastructure number plucked from thin air for a rhetorical flourish)

Your point about needing primary sources is a good one. I generally prefer reading to video interviews (making an exception for audio podcasts that I play while driving). I did NOT watch the interview, and I assume that is crafted for an American audience. I should skim Dugin’s book instead.

I do note that one of Wikipedia’s main sources for a description of the work is “Foreign Policy” journal, which is sober, but also the CFR house organ.

I have a few trip wires.

One, is that Russia is not likely to be friendly to the Catholic Church in Ukraine.

Two, if I see occult, I do not like it. The devil loves to play both sides if he can. I certainly didn’t like Nancy Reagan bringing in the astrologer to her husband.

One the other hand, Zelensky is some combination of crazy, evil, or a puppet.

You're a propagandist.

In Russia, marriage is between and a man and a woman. The Russian government has passed laws banning the promotion of homosexuality to kids and by adults (Russian parliament passes law banning 'LGBT propaganda' among adults) and banned gender transitioning for anyone. Thus, there are no drag queen story hours in Russia nor there any sex change operations being performed on children.

Further, Putin has spend billions BUILDING CHRISTIAN CHURCHES within Russia:

Russia Spending 2.5 Billion US Dollars A Year On Orthodox Church Construction

Russia has Orthodox Christian churches, Evangelical and Protestant churches, Synagogues and Mosques.

How is the evangelical church doing in Russia? Quite well:

Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith

Dugan, BTW, was an anti-Soviet dissent when he was younger.

Now, with our blessing, he had to endure his daughter being targeted and murdered in car bombing at the hands of Ukrainian intelligence.

It's laughable for anyone to claim Ukraine, we or NATO have the moral high ground in the proxy war in Ukraine.

I talk like someone who's a whole lot better informed than you. Read the source material I posted on Dugin before you post insults again. I won't tell you to read "Inside Putin's Brain" by Michael Millerman, because it gets deep into Heidegger, the Nazi philosopher whom Dugin seems to want to emulate. The book is dense with academic philosophical jargon, but if you REALLY want to get where Dugin is coming from, take a week off and digest it.

Thanks for your thoughts. All fair observations.
Dugan speaks in English in the interview and it comes with an English worded by-line so it’s straight from the horse’s mouth. When someone says things I never heard before it gets my wheels spinning and Dugan presented a number of interesting thoughts.

.....the words coming directly out of Dugan’s mouth....

Dugin in person seems to be a very charismatic character.

Like both Hitler and Stalin, according to Peter Drucker, who knew them both first-hand. And also Jim Jones, by all accounts. Tolkien drew it well in the character of Saruman.
