Unification Of CBDCs? Global Banks Are Telling Us The End Of The Dollar System Is Near
American Partisan ^ | 5/1/24 | Brandon Smith

World reserve status allows for amazing latitude in terms of monetary policy. The Federal Reserve understands that there is constant demand for dollars overseas as a means to more easily import and export goods. The dollar’s petro-status also makes it essential for trading oil globally. This means that the central bank of the US has been able to create fiat currency from thin air to a far higher degree than any other central bank on the planet while avoiding the immediate effects of hyperinflation.

Much of that cash as well as dollar denominated debt (physical and digital) ends up in the coffers of foreign central banks, international banks and investment firms where it is held as a hedge or used to adjust the exchange rates of other currencies for trade advantage. As much as one-half of the value of all U.S. currency is estimated to be circulating abroad.

World reserve status along with various debt instruments allowed the US government and the Fed to create tens of trillions of dollars in new currency after the 2008 credit crash, all while keeping inflation under control (sort of). The problem is that this system of stowing dollars overseas only lasts so long and eventually the consequences of overprinting come home to roost.

This article was posted a few months ago. The same three options - IMF, BIS & Swift - and the same dollar-is-dead-soon prediction.

It may some day happen...but the big powers will just start more wars, small or big, to keep things in perpetual turmoil, and the US and affiliate countries (the Saudis, for example) ain’t going to go down easy and agree to their own demise.

Good luck shorting the US Dollar (USD).

As I write this, the USD is trading at 105.3.

That is just two points below a 22 year high.

If you ask the dollar downers on this thread to give you their greenbacks, I bet they suddenly become bullish on hard currency.

And did you ever notice how doomsayers accept fiat currency as payment for their stupid newsletter and freeze-dried food?

The stupid broad at the Fed is OUT OF MONEY. She can’t raise interest rates, and she can’t drop interest rates. She can only print more money. She has transitioned from 1T every 90 days to 1T every 30 days. It is not enough. This nation’s wealth is being stolen by the democrats and their donars, and they are breaking the piggy bank in a fit of rage as they face the consequences and lose political power.

Are you stating that people have no choice but to use the American Dollar as some proof of its store of value? It is fast becoming the most worthless currency in American history. Biden has devalued the dollar over 40% in three years.

I have put my money in BTC. I am retired and now have more money than I made in my lifetime while spending more money annually than I ever made in my best year - all thanks in part to retirement planning and Biden’s worthless fiat.

The choice is clear. The USG will cancel the USD. In it’s place they will roll out the America’s/American Dollar for use from Canada to Argentina. This has long been planned and we are at the end game of fleecing this nation’s wealth.

Brics is only going accelerate the disruption to the USD. The American Dollar in it’s place will be a regional attempt to put a fence up against the Asian-African Brics endeavor.

Agreed that Bidet is a fustercluck and He Did That.

But from where is your 40% devaluation calc? Inflation has been 17% on a cumulative basis. Furthermore, against a basket of other currencies, the dollar is rallying - it’s up against the Euro, the CNY, and up modestly against the CHF.

Crypto is safe. Until it’s not. Good luck.

Finally, it’s going to be funnier than a Bidet press conference when BRICS fizzles.

In many ways, BRICS is like the WNBA.

-Their individual players were never drafted in the big league. Because they’re not good enough.

-They decided to form their own league.

-They got a lot of press.

-A lot of the media slobbered all over them. “Watch out, big boys. Here they come!”

-Despite all this, attendance at their games is negligible and their fans are one-dimensional.

-Their most famous player was wanted for arrest in another country.

Be well.

Brics is going to survive simply because the Biden State Department has royally destroyed faith in the US led economic system. It is simply an economic union. Any political power is soley regional and not intended as such. The world has moved on from the American forced system, and the alternative to overpriced western societies and the developing world is impressive. African nations are pushing out French and US, and in their place the Chinese and Russians are giving them control of their economies. Several wars like in Mali are coming to a close with the ejection of the west who divided the people within nations with constant war.

The only thing America today offers the world is war.
