I thought this article pertained to where we are today in Government.

The news source is new to me but it is a collection of local newspapers in Texas (ownership), Ohio and Texas.

Both the "The Republic" location in Indiana and the corporate office were friendly.

Let me know what you think about the other branches of the newspaper group.

In the “Republic,” Plato as Socrates contends that only someone who will guard the laws and institutions of the state is qualified to rule.

Nowadays, anybody who puts themself forward as a Platonic guardian doesn't care about the laws and institutions of the country. Soros, Schwab, Gates, Bezos. Academics are even worse. Guardians like John Brennan (CIA), Michael Hayden (CIA), and James Comey (FBI) aren't to be trusted either.

You know, no matter how you slice it, Plato laid the ideological groundwork for Nazi Germany.
The Founding Fathers of America had little use for his thinking.
Jefferson despised his works.
