I think that would also be accompanied by moves by states legislatures to restrict the power of leftist cities significantly.

Yes. I would expect that the states in revolt would form armies much like in 1860. Blue urban areas are basically islands. A good strategy would be to surround them and cut off their food, water and power. To speed things up, cities could be fire bombed. In the rear areas, communists would have to be rounded up and eliminated.

Right now the cities are comprised of Dems with deep pockets and Dems who pick pockets,target-rich theaters.
