The University of North Carolina is facing criticism after instructors announced they would withhold grades from students until the school reinstated individuals suspended for pro-Palestinian demonstrations on campus.
On Monday, the university at Chapel Hill confirmed reports of professors punishing students by refusing to submit grades unless the school administration ends suspensions of those who engaged in protests last week. Nick Craig, a local radio host in Wilmington, North Carolina, published a screenshot of a professor’s message to students about holding their grades hostage.
“The University has suspended 15 of your and my fellow students for their participation in a peaceful protest calling for UNC to divest funding for Israel’s military action against civilians in Gaza,” said the unnamed teacher. “In solidarity with these students, I (along with many other faculty, teaching assistants, fellows, and graders across campus) have decided to withhold my reporting of final grades to the Registrar’s Office.”

Professors need to have their asses kicked. They would if they held my shitty grades up.
North Carolina governor should have a press conference and just say “You sure get a lot of funding from the taxpayers. I’d hate for anything to happen to all that money. Oh, and I’m introducing a bill into the legislature to reclassify your endowment so it will be eligible to be taxed.”

As universities show they CANNOT enforce order or protect students on campuses, the campuses will be depopulated by “remote learning,” which means tuition wise they will begin to be defunded. Their endownments then will be eaten up.
Sounds like they need a Friday Night Massacre firing these prima donna professors. Get rid of them.
Criminal charges should therefore be filed against the university for fraud. The students paid for a service and invested their lives into a service that did not deliver what it promised. A class action lawsuit by students is also in order.
The country should be taking an Israeli approach to terrorist training camps.
They must be adjunct professors
All instructors failing to supply the failing grades of the protest participants should be terminated. Immediately.
FIRE EVER SINGLE ONE OF THESE PROFESSORS... period.
IF they are tenured, then the Legislature Should immediately pass a new law ending tenure at state affiliated universities... Then fire them.

All participating professors should be suspended and evicted/banned from campus. If they don't release the grades, the school needs to break their tenure and fire them. Any of them who cave should be required to publicly repudiate their support for Hamas and then condemn Hamas as terrorists and mass murderers.
