SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 2003--This Fall, powersports fans, manufacturers and dealers are coming together to celebrate a common passion: motorcycles. The popular Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota Trucks (IMS) will be at the Seahawks Stadium & Exhibition Center in Seattle, December 5-7, 2003. Tickets for the event are $11 for adults, $5 for children 6-11 and free for children 5 and under. "We're excited to be back in Seattle again this year. Seattle is a city that embraces the motorcycle lifestyle and comes out in the tens of thousands to see all that's new from our 12 major motorcycle manufacturers," said Show Director Jeff D'Entremont. "And, new for this year, we'll have the Ball of Steel Stunt Show, which will be fun for the whole family."

The Ball of Steel Stunt Team is comprised of three brothers from Fort Worth, Texas -- Preston Landers (age 16), Brandon Landers (age 17) and Kyle Landers (age 18). The one-of-a-kind performance features three motorcycle riders hitting serious G-forces as they synchronize their motorcycles to perform insane stunts in a giant 16-ft. steel globe. The show ends with one of the riders performing a back flip on his motorcycle.

Traveling to 13 major cities across the country, the IMS series is an unparalleled opportunity for bike buffs along with casual enthusiasts to experience the cutting-edge of powersports vehicles, products, and services. The 2004 line-up of OEMs include: Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha. Representatives from local dealerships will be available to answer questions and help enthusiasts determine the perfect ride for their size and experience level.

The Powersports Group is also pleased to welcome back Ducati and Moto Guzzi this time for the full tour. As always, an onslaught of the hottest sport bikes, cruisers, scooters, dual-sport machines, off-road bikes, motocross and 4-wheel ATVs will be represented.

Show highlights will include stunt riders, special demonstrations and interactive features. Attractions will also include vintage displays highlighting vehicles of all makes and models, and the all-new Club House with special features, message boards, and contests targeting motorcycle club members.

Show attendees who want in-depth information about motorcycle parts and accessories can visit the expert staff in "The Factory," a showcase of the latest aftermarket products and essential riding gear where they can compare and discuss everything from performance parts to the latest communications hardware with manufacturer representatives. We are pleased to have the following companies participating in The Factory: Arai Helmets, Autocom, Avon Tyres, Bell Powersports, Inc., Chatterbox, Cobra Engineering, Desser Tire & Rubber Co., Dowco, Inc., Dunlop North America, HJC America, K & N Engineering, Kendon Industries, Metzeler Motorcycle Tire, Progressive Suspension, Shoei Helmets, Suomy Helmets, Team Simpson Racing, Top Gear Accessories, Ltd., Travelcade, Yuasa Battery, Inc., and Wiseco Piston.

I usually try to make it, but missed last year. It's a two-hour trip over for me, and the weather usually sucks for riding.

There's usually some good deals on equipment here and there; bought a great leather jacket one year for less than $300 (damn thing weighs about 10 lbs and is handy in winter) and rarely-used chaps another time.

The ST-1100 hooligans usually meet up for breakfast first on Saturday.
