Jesus Christ rose bodily from the grave to give eternal life to all those who believe.
Mark 16:4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away --for it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 "But go, tell His disciples--and Peter--that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you." 8 So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. 9 Now when [He] rose early on the first [day] of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. 11 And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

Thank you! He has risen, indeed!

I'm so grateful Jesus died for our sins and rose again, his love cannot be expressed in any greater magnitude.

Thanks be to God for His many blessings, and for our salvation through Christ's suffering.
Good morning to all - off to church and a family gathering, see you all later.

"Up from the grave He arose...!" My favorite day to sing. Thanks be to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for loving us so much!
Happy Easter, all.

Since there are now persons of the egg-hunting age in our family, we'll all gather at Mrs.L's mom's house for an in-door hunt and then a family dinner this evening.
Everyone please enjoy the blessings of your family and friends - they are gifts from Above.

Those kitties are too cute!
Another round of congratulations to Stewart. What a great tournament it was.
Humor break:
THE Republican National Committee has turned to boxing promoter Don King to lend his voice to an online game poking fun at Sen. John Kerry, reports The Washington Times. Visitors to the RNC's Web site can play "Kerry vs. Kerry," a boxing match in which the presidential candidate fights himself.
"Ladies and gentlemen," King's voice-over booms. "Welcome to Kerry versus Kerry, the battle for the Democratic Party. In one corner, hailing from Massachusetts - 350 votes for higher taxes, votes to eliminate important intelligence funding - Sen. John Kerry.
In the other corner, also hailing from Massachusetts . . . Sen. John Kerry." (PageSix)
