The Guild 5-17-2004 KERRY DAUGHTER SHOWS CANNES!

Posted on 05/17/2004 4:40:46 AM PDT by BigWaveBetty

KERRY DAUGHTER SHOWS CANNES!

A side note; Will Kerry pick Clark for VP?

Kerry's face is saying either, "Clark would make a fine VP." or "I never realized how handsome Wesley is."

I think it might be happening, Clark as Kerry's pick for VP. Clark's been introducing and/or stumping for Effin'.

Oh please let me get my wish! A Kerry/Clark ticket.

Could Bruce Springsteen be plotting to rain on the Republicans' campaign parade? Democratic operatives are buzzing that the Boss has been talking about staging a free concert somewhere on Sept. 2, when President Bush is due to address the Republican National Convention.

Besides getting out the vote, Springsteen hopes to provide "counterprogramming to the message the Republicans will be broadcasting," says a source. A spokeswoman for Springsteen would only say, "There are no confirmed Bruce shows for 2004." source

The Dim Brothers demonstrate the one million jobs Effin' will create.

"Americans don't want these jobs, another fine mess you've gotten us into Ollie!"

"There are no confirmed Bruce shows for 2004."

Well then, perhaps President Bush could ask Darryl Woorly (sp?) to spring a concert on the dims in Boston, blasting 'Have You Forgotten' at the convention.

I'm beginning to think Effin' has imaginary friends, little elfin folk who whisper things in his ear, like "Hey John, lots of foreign leaders want you to be president," which he then dutifully repeats as if it were the gospel truth, to much ridicule. Well, he's done it again:

Marking the 50th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision ending segregation in public schools, Democrat John Kerry warned on Monday that there are forces in the United States that sought "to see it undone." Reuters

There are forces, many evil forces, Kerry intoned, who would snatch little black children right out of schools and put them all on big rocket ships aimed for Mars! It's true! Foreign leaders told him so!

I don't stop by very often any more, but I knew this would be the place to comment on that TACKY dress. She HAD to know her picture would be snapped and spread world-wide.

WHY would anyone wear something like that? WHO convinced her it would be a good idea?

I positively think the entire Kerry-Heinz family is NUTS.

She definitely needs a brassiere. Probably can't afford one.

Nothing ticks me off more than when someone compares Springsteen to Bob Seger. For me, that's the equivalent of equating Manet with David Hockney. Yeah, both use watercolors to paint, but that's where the comparisons end.

Seger is a Rock n'Roll legend, with a capital 'R.' Springsteen, on the other hand, is a unoriginal, mewling freak who hasn't written more than half a dozen listenable songs.

Let him organize a protest concert, I could care less. I know I won't be attending that freak-show.

P.S. Does he actually believe he's Tom Joad? What's up with the affected Southern twang? The guy's from freakin' New Jersey.

the entire Kerry-Heinz family is NUTS.

The same little voices who told J. Forbes Kerry that Bush wants to restore segregation told the daughter, "Yeah, let them puppies flop. That looks really good. No, really, Alexandra."

Too funny, and this gets my vote.

LOL! I just can't get over the total lack of taste embodied in that outfit.

The "little voices" is as good an excuse as any.

Mark Steyn:

.... The administration, in trying to see its way through both the phony crossfire and the real one, has been rattled by the fake war. Someone in the White House needs seriously to stiffen the Bush rhetoric. When the president talks about ''staying the course'' and ''bringing to justice'' the killers, he sounds like Bill Clinton, who pledged to stay the course in Somalia and bring to justice the terrorists, and did neither. Bush has to go back to speaking Rumsfeldian, not Powellite: He has to talk about winning total victory, hunting down the enemy and killing them.

He also needs to promise himself that he'll never again apologize to some Arab despot -- even relatively benign ones, like the king of Jordan -- for events in Iraq. If he feels the need to apologize, he should apologize to the American people for apologizing to the Arab world. This isn't just because what went on in Abu Ghraib is a picnic -- well, a Paris Hilton video picnic -- compared to what goes on every day in the prisons of our Arab ''allies.''

Now's not the time for Bush to go soft.

Unreal!

I can't believe she wore this.

Even most celebrities....OK, there are some ....but a lot of them are discovering better taste lately in their clothing selections at main events.

What total crass!
