This is from the Latest Posts main page. Notice the post in question is 51 of 50. I know, I know, who cares? Anyway, I've noticed that this has happened a few times in the past and wonder if anyone else had noticed?

Okay, I'll give the obvious line. Are you logged in? :)
Actually, I think it's probably the server catching up to requests. They get posted as the correct number after a few moments.

This numbering system is the same one we used to steal the election from Kerry.

Look, who wants to be the 51st state, when there are only 50? That is where the answer lies.

WILL FEMINISTS PRAISE CONDOLEEZZA RICE? Posted by television is just wrong to chasio649

©Just to let you know - you're not alone. I"ve been experiencing the
same problem - For along time now. Everytime I complain I'm told it
must be my problem on my end, therefore, I've just stopped complaining
It's nice to know other people are having problems and I'm not going
crazy or imagining things.

To see the answers, rub your cursor over the blank lines below the questions:
1. Who wants to be the 51st state, when there are only 50?
Washington, D.C.
2. "Condoleezza" is a misspelling of what Italian musical direction?
"Con dolcezza," which means, "with sweetness."
3. What combines "Rice" "with sweetness"?
Rice pudding? Rice Krispie treats? No, Rice Chex!
4. If "television is just wrong," then that means the reign of the maintream media is ____
Over.
5. Anagram, please, of "Over."
"Rove."
6. So who is it that lives in Washington, D.C., and checks ("Chex") all of the posts on FR, to see if they meet with his approval?
That's right, boys and girls: Karl Rove. That solves the mystery and explains the slight delay.
But wait, what about the "chasio649"?
"Charles Henrickson always solves intriguing oddities, in 6 parts, to questions that were posted at 49 past the hour."

I want to know why I cannot view my own posts on my "pings" page. All I see is the thread and post number. I have to click on every thread to see what somebody wrote to me. And heaven forbid if I want to recall what I've already written.
But when I check somebody else's Find in Forum, I can read what they wrote.

Just a matter of time before Jesse Jackson, Ralph Nader and Mike Badnarik demand a recount of the posts.
