Five of the six games have gone down to the wire. Will Game Seven be in different?
Little wager perhaps?
Against the Spurs in San Antonio, at this point, though I favor the Mavs...I don't see it happening. We shall see...and hope.
The home team is 77-17 in the history of the NBA in game 7.
I know but a team up 3-1 has won the series over 80% of the time.
If Terry and Josh have a big night, we're on to the next round. Avery needs to throw another wrench into the mix, like he did by starting Harris in Game 2. Harris isn't ready for a Game 7.
just putting out the odds.
I really like that Spurs team. It is hard to bet against them.
"...I know but a team up 3-1 has won the series over 80% of the time..."
What are the odds on the home team in game 7's?
See post #4. It's not good news for Mav fans.
Yea I know...I'm just ribbing you a little bit. Avery has done a great job so far (as have the Mavs). It's actually ironic to look at the coaching history between Pop, Avery and Don Nelson (which taught both).
Should be a great game tonight. I don't necessarily agree with some of Pop's coaching decisions and/or lineups in this series.
Mavs need to run, run, run!!!!!
And that's just exactly what Avery said they will do.
Jason Terry better have an extra spring in his step tonight.
I hope not, the "old guys" in black will suffer if they do. Terry will certainly be the key. If he comes out trying to makeup for the Game 5 loss, he may be playing off of emotion and could easily go flat if he gets into foul trouble early or his shots aren't falling.
I was at the game Friday night with great seats. What I saw was the Mavs getting to many fouls against them, one missing key scorer, and not making the shots. Their defense was good, but when you are missing some things you need you can't win a game.
Hopefully tonight they will be back on with all players there and ready to put this away.
I hope they win cause I want to go to the next round games in Dallas when they are here!
Go MAVS!
I just noticed your tag line...I root for any of the FL teams when my Noles are out of it, but I'm a Gator-Hater at heart. I live in PC.
Now, Max, you know I don't follow the baseball...
"...Their defense was good..."
It looked good because several of the Spurs were on the bench in foul trouble.
Sorry...couldn't resist! I feel like the only Spurs fan on the board. Ha!
Go Sonics!
That's what would make the bet fun! I'll bet you no home runs will be hit during this game.
The greatness of Shawn Kemp and Vin Baker.
