Another reason to #1 pick a good pharmacy and stick with it. #2 Be EXTREMELY NICE to the employees.

It’s amazing the way people treat service employees. As if their absurdly rude behavior will get them better service?

It was my job to call in prescriptions. The chain stores are so incredibility overwhelmed they can’t possibly keep up with all of their customers. This was in a small town too. So I prefer to use small independent pharmacies. I have to pay in full for my meds, but I don’t require much. Totally worth it to me. I have a friend who’s father ran a small independent pharmacy. He knew all his customers, especially the elderly ones. Knew what insulin all his diabetic customers took, knew when they might be running low. My friend worked after school delivering to his customers. You don’t hear too much about home delivery anymore.
