Why Are Catholic Cardinals Mute On Obama's Outrageous Statement On The Crusades?
February 06, 2015

Posted on 02/06/2015 9:24:14 PM PST by Steelfish

Catholic cardinals need to step up? Where's Cardinal Dolan? every single Christian denomination must rise up in arms against this "Muslim-defensive" statement. Perhaps there is a fear of stoking the fires in the Middle-East but there comes a time when fear must give way to political courage. Obama needs a ferocious rebuttal on the history of the Crusades who sought to recapture the Holy Land taken by Muslim invaders.

It’s the sort of thing a thoughtful Moslem would say. There is no surprise.

Be patient, my son. Dolan's writers are working it into his Stage Irishman Act for Interfaith Breakfasts as we speak. Dolan apparently believes he is channeling Dennis Day.

"So Pat and Mike were talking about the Crusa.........

Cardinal Dolan will never be confused with Cardinal Spellman or Cardinal O’Connor.

Would that be Patrick Fitzmichael and Michael Fitzpatrick?

guess: the cardinals are still in shock about it
(remembering that several of the cardinals made it pretty clear they liked Obama)

let’s give it a few days and see if the cardinals speak out about this desecration of the Christianity and the Church

Dolan might get confused with Dick Van Patten’s role as a bishop in Mel Brooks, “Robin Hood Men in Tights”.

They probably don’t want people to find out how many protestants were killed by the catholic crusaders on their way to Jerusalem.

Subject: Free Will & Political correctness

It’s interesting the way socialists approach theological concepts but when it comes to Islam they are not the only ones who refuse to approach the issue. That even includes leading Christian clergy including Pope Francis.
Followers of Mohammed not only claim, but truly believe that God has authorized them to kill those who refuse to submit to their version of God’s will. That is a basic tenet of that religion. A claim which goes unchallanged. While it’s understandable for atheists which most socialists are, not to approach that claim on a theological basis. It’s bewildering why any Christian clergy refuse to admit it even exists and is a basic part of Islam creed and worse yet are unable to condem it.

The Koran which was not given to Mohammed by God but by some angel .Demanding enforcement of sharia law which draws heavily from the Torah. It is a pseudo religious concoction using monotheistic selected texts, taken and misconstrued from the old .(bible) and new tertaments. Both of which cite the Almighty has granted free will to accept or obey his laws and is the final judge not man. Sodom and Gormora , “Let he who is without sin cast the stone” are outstanding examples from both books. One deals with sin and God’s decision toward a group the other to an individual, neither is left to man.

Yet followers of Mohammed under the severest of penalties are forbidden to read either which would refute that assertion in a creed which institutionalizes disgusting arab tribal views, observances, and customs. Claiming adhearants are authorized by our Creator to demand submission to it or suffer an ignominious death administered by followers of Islam simply because they answer the call to prayer 5 times a day.

Protestantism began in the 1500s. The Crusades ended around 1291. There weren’t any Protestants when the Crusades took place. So, there weren’t any Protestants killed by Catholic Crusaders on their way to Jerusalem or anywhere else.

This is true on the timeline of the Crusades. However, we could bring up the little war that started in 1619 (The Thirty Years War) and how religion on all sides within Europe downsized drastically when it concluded. When you look for ‘bad Christianity’ or ‘bad Catholics’...note how we hear the term ‘bad Muslims’ now....the two groups were cleaned up by the end of the Thirty Years War and by the conclusion of the 1600s...there weren’t any more significant problems with religion within Europe.

Patrick Fitzmichael and Michael Fitzpatrick?

No, Brother Desmond Fitzmichael. Father Patrick Fitzdesmond?

Q: "Mother Dolan, why are you crying so?"
A: "Me boyo has just been made Pope!"

Q: Surely, me good woman, 'tis a cause for rejoicing, is it not?
A: "Don't be daft! How can me boy be safe, living in an Eye-Talian neighborhood?"

Careful, or Bruce will find out where you live and run over and beat you with his purse!

You've got to figure that the addled pro-sodomist brain's main purpose in life is to destroy the Catholic church.

For obvious reasons.

We will hear nothing from Wuerl, Dolan, O’Malley, DiNardo, Chaput (who poses as a “conservative” or “orthodox” bishop), Cupich, or Gomez. All of them insist on giving Communion to pro-abort, pro-sodomy politicians. (It does not bother them that doing so is a mortal sin. Mortal sins for which no one is suing, or about which no journalists care, do not count.)

The reason is that Cardinal Bernardin systematically got the Church addicted to government money. The bishops’ conference in Washington is heavily addicted. The addiction varies greatly from diocese to diocese.

Also, pro-abortion politicians (e.g., Patrick Leahy) have threatened that, if they are denied Communion, bishops will be dragged before Congress for lots and lots of interrogation about the sex abuse scandal.

Finally, photographs exist of certain bishops (e.g., Wuerl, in Pittsburgh) in gay bars. These have been used in the past to silence certain bishops (e.g., Wuerl, in Pittsburgh) on the issue of gay-rights legislation, etc.

Oh, one more thing: Some of the most powerful bishops are not Catholics, do not believe in God, and since their youth are full-on operatives of the Democrat/Marxist/Abortion party.

The Cardinals won’t speak out because of the current Pope, who seems to be more in step with Obama than any previous Pope in modern times.

Shameful silence of the American Catholic hierarchy after Obama’s vile attack to Christianity, with special rancor against the Catholic Church.
