You have to expect this sort of thing with unemployment at 42% (per David Stockman)
Stockman points out there are only 70M breadwinner jobs which is still less than the start of the last recession in 07. The rest are low paying or part time jobs. I would imagine there is some fairly stiff competition for most jobs.
