Anybody using gmail for professional purposes is just asking for trouble anyway?

Actually, many companies (and universities) use Google Gmail services for their email even though  you may not know it on the front end when you see the sender's address.

Why use it? Google is very good at filtering out spam and virus emails. There's also a high delivery rate (i.e. emails sent are less likely to be flagged as spam or otherwise disappear in cyberspace).

And there are multiple copies of everything on several servers across the world like NSA, TSA, China, IRA... you know just backing stuff up...

We use it at work.

It’s our own address, but, they control the technology.

SO much better than the old system we had.
