No problems here still.
Seems to run OK on the non-secure server (http versus https).
It’s a pain for commenting, but log off and the side bar returns and you’ll get a longer feed.
Well I’m glad someone mentioned this because I’m thinking I did something wrong. Wow! Feel kind of lost without the sidebars.

This simple site has been running like crap for years now
I think it is profile related. If you log out then everything loads quickly and the sidebars show up fine. If you log in then that is when the problems start to show up. So looks like profile/settings/index/file issue.
I work on the net all day every day, and as of 7 AM EST today there have been massive services outages across the midwest due to storms and such. No status on resolution as yet.
Everybody’s problem seems to be unique.
After 10 AM (CST) I can barely get FR up, at all. If it comes up, then I can’t get into my mail, or my pings.
Forty minutes later maybe I can get into them but I can’t post a reply. If later in the day I am able to post, then it won’t send.
No other site, on the face of the Earth, offers such magnificent features as FR.
No other site performs so poorly, so consistently, than FR. My access is so severely limited now that I am detaching from the stages of grief. Pain,sympathy, frustration, panic, fury and now just detaching.
I just don’t get it. I just can’t figure it out, why here, and nowhere else?

I can try clearing my browsing history, but then I will have to log back in to all sites I don’t normally have to log in to...like FR :(
I think when the server crashed a while back that either and index file is corrupt or code is not correct in handling your profile and the screen loading correctly with your settings. Since I do not know how all of this is set up I cannot answer. If you want to just look at articles then log out and it will be much faster and load correctly. Only if you want to comment will you need to log back in and then you will have the issues.
If you cleared your cookies then it will load fine since it does not recognize you as logged on and it loads like a visitor would see. If you log back in I bet the problem reoccurs again. Not cookie related but profile related.
am currently having trouble getting a story to load. if it comes up 10 times ...oh well
