In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

I see a pattern.......they stood down for Antifa in Berkley and look where it got them. United right. Gee.....it’s the Dem mayors doing it, too. 2018 is looking good.

Word on the street is that the cops were not only pulled back so as to foment violence, but the cops actually forced the permittees to exit the park in a single file line down some stairs so that they were forced into a gauntlet of violent leftists throwing bottles of urine and feces, and swinging baseball bats.
The leftist BLM mayor needs to go to prison.

Ah yes, that great flat sea of mud and debris dropped from a thin, highly productive layer in the far-distant life-supporting zone high above, that slowly and imperceptibly slopes gently down from the sunlight seas to the depths of despair and darkness.
