And they actually reminded you that Peter Arnett was being censored by Saddam. And the newscasters! They were so YOUNG! And the gutsiness of our military. Those young men just defined the word BRAVE.

I’d say, “My pleasure,” but I have to admit that editing the commercials out of the material and fixing the gradual spread of sound from video makes my eyes cross. But it just seems this is “You were there” history that shouldn’t be lost. Just the encoding of one section takes 6 hours of computing after the editing is done, and the uploading another hour and a half. It’s why I’m so slow getting these tapes up. I’ve got one more 1991 6 hr tape to go, then I need to look for more from other years. It seems endless.
