So I set my flux capacitor to the year 2030. I was hoping to get a glimpse of the S&P 500's value at that date.

just under 10,000. It should grow between 6% and 7%. Expect a couple of large falls but those will be made up. There are no straight lines in the stock market.

As of today S&P is at 2779.
Compound annual growth rate for stocks is ~ 10%. 2030 is 12 years from now.
1.1^12 =3.13
So I would guess somewhere in the 8000-9000 range.
Off course a lot of bad things can happen between now and then. War. Europe could fall to the muslim invasion. Trump could be impeached. Bernie could get elected. Kamala could be elected. Hillary could still be alive. RBG could still be alive and still be on the Supreme Court.
