The letter, “J”, has a beginning, and an end. The stripe on a candy cane (or barber pole) is a continuous swirl around a cylindrical shape.

I guess if an idiot dem, (like AOC, or this “principal”) holds it stationary, it might remotely resemble a “J”.

But, I don’t think the inventor of candy canes (or “barber poles”) did either with “Jesus” in mind...it’s just decoration...if not, that means barbers can cut hair only at Christmas time. /s

When I went back for my MBA, the school also pumped out a lot of Edu majors. Talking to them, after years in STEM departments, you quickly realize that teachers-to-be are the absolute bottom of the academic barrel.

By now, they have been promoted to admin positions, so these kind of stories are actually only what I would expect.
