A devout Catholic and mother is the subject of a five-month police investigation - after she was accused of calling a transgender woman a 'he' on Twitter.
Caroline Farrow, a broadcaster and writer for Roman Catholic newspapers, said she had a phone call from an officer on Monday asking her to attend an interview.
Mrs Farrow, 44, said she may have posted the suspect tweet following an appearance on Good Morning Britain last September, during which she took part in a debate on transgender children.
She said she was prepared to go to jail, adding: 'I don't know what I am suspected to have done. The only thing I can think of is that I may have referred to a 23-year-old transgender woman as someone's "son".
'I try at all times to be polite on Twitter, but it is my belief on both a religious and scientific basis that you cannot change the sex into which you were born.'

The craziest aspect of this is that we’re really not talking about one’s right to have one’s own “beliefs” here. To say that this poor woman “believes” that some dude pretending to be woman is a “he” sort of implies that maybe she’s right, maybe she’s wrong. And that’s inaccurate. The dude IS a man. He’s a he. She’s right about him. Period, end of story. This is about the right not to be forced to pretend something is true when it is factually, objectively false. A man in a dress and makeup isn’t a “she.”

Just wow! Think it can’t happen here? In NY now, you apparently can be arrested or fined or something for using the wrong title for someone who THINKS they are something other than the two biological realities-

Exactly as NAZI Germany operated. You want to know why the average Joe German was able to pretend there was no holocaust? Because before that the NAZI's had conditioned the people to say things that everybody knew wasn't true in Orwellian 1984 style. Once you condition the people to confirm as fact what's obviously incorrect, you control no only their speech but also their processing of facts.
Perhaps she should request a DNA test of the complaintent to ensure that what she said was inaccurate.

They don’t really care if you actually believe the lies, as long as they can force you to say that you do and thereby deny your own beliefs, or objective facts. It demeans you and forces you to accede to their power when they can force you to speak “correctly”, especially if you actually believe or know differently.

In the UK you will go to jail for non-PC thoughts. Here, you just lose your job and the ability to express yourself using the press, publishing, the internet, or social media.
When it gets to that here, and it will, I will not go to jail for calling a man a man. I’m 67 years old and I’m not going to jail for something like that. I would prefer to leave the mortal plane and take several fascists with me.
