I have once. I guy I worked with at a juvenile prison, left his state job to run for the state legislature. He had it all. Came from a locally powerful family, had a drop-dead gorgeous wife and was a shoo-in to win the seat. Then in a two month period, his wife dumped him to pursue a singing career, his brother was caught dealing drugs, and the local party bosses pushed him out of the race.

He came back to the juvenile prison to get a job as a counselor for the ‘troubled youth’. Exactly the wrong job for a person whose world has been turned upside down. Six month later he looked a lot like Weiner’s pic—except he was wearing a blanket.
