I have it on very good authority that this group of agents are normally in an office, trying to hack computers and phones and doing investigations into government leakers. These are not field agents that work units like the gang task force or violent crimes task force, although, that isn’t saying all that much since the Feds rely so heavily on local cops, on those task forces, to do most of the grunt work.
Anywho, they went out there unprepared, ill equipped and had no idea how to handle folks or talk to folks. Most of the people they deal with are government employees that get caught doing something. Not some hoodrat or ghetto college kid from DC, running their mouths.
They, like the Cali National Guardsmen, gave ANTIFA an inch. Time will tell if they take their mile. I’m thinking they’re going to try.

If they are carrying guns, which they are, they are FBI Agents, not support people. Not saying they don’t do what you said, but they are actual agents. That’s assuming they are really FBI, which I hope they’re not. But they look authentic to me.
