All I got was a water bill and a fund raising Trump letter. Why does Trump make such fancy and expensive mailers? I would send a contribution for a post card reminder.
Trump has a brand, and the fund-raising letters are part of it. Wile E. Coyote is faithful to Acme (they extend credit to coyotes) and Trump projects luxury in anything with his name on it.
Those are created and distributed by fundraising committees, and there's dozens and dozens of them. To one particular ardent supporter, I'll typically bring 8-14 inches of mail a day (well, not all political fundraising, the wife apparently has a taste for Publisher's Clearinghouse.)
I find it particularly interesting just how many committees there are (and some weird ones where they're mailing out mint 5 dollar bills, so you're talking likely $10 in fundraising costs for whatever contribution is granted...)
And of course, the franking by the congresscritter showing how 'woke' he is to the environment by mailing plastic sheets to every mailbox. Those were a pain and a half.
Rush is not doing his show today and his explanation for not being there, filled me with dread. Then we got this unexpected gift box, and it reduced me to tears.
