I think what differentiates fascism from other ideological movements is the use of violence and anger to achieve political ends. What you almost always see in fascist regimes is propaganda being used to set people against each other without any potential solutions to any of the problems.
Fascism is always, in the end, about stirring people up and giving them someone to hate....

It really is so incredible to read this interview from what seems like 100 years ago, but to actually look at events today and consider the "bully with an army," will be a President other than Trump. And it isn't just about the next 4 years...it is about the next 50 years.
Albright's statement that the book would be written no matter who got elected is very telling. Lling keeps trying to make this about Trump, but Albright lightly makes this about the culture, the divisions, the identity politics. A manipulation now on full display these last few months.
It is frightening they don't see themselves in the fascist mirror. And I truly wonder what she would say today. Everywhere this interview 'worries' Trump will and would go...he has diverted from that path.
The real fascists are planning on complete mayhem between now and the November election.
They also know that President Trump can invoke the Insurrection Act to fight them, and use the military.
They fear that, so they are launching pre-emptive attacks in the media.
It’s OK for Blacks to be racist.
It’s OK for the Left to use violence.
They’re the Good Guys, so anything goes.
But White people can’t get out of bed without sending a “dog whistle” of racism and impending violence.
I don’t think she even knows that she’s talking about the people arrayed against Trump: her own Party!

I just found her comments insightful...but quite reversed. Instigation without real problem solving etc. The violence being used by marxist/fascist left, etc.
She doesn’t see Trump as a fascist at all. She see’s a line in the sand that he hasn’t crossed. Like I noted in the last excerpted line from the interview I posted, it wouldn’t matter who was elected as her warning is cultural.
The media is trying to say President Trump is inciting things with his tweets...and he’s tweeted some really dumb things lately, but they just tweets. The violence is coming from the real fascists and destruction happening. It isn’t coming from our own military or government.

The do-gooders see that ANTIFA and BLM are burning American cities and occasionally shooting people. But, you know, to make an omelette you must scramble some eggs. On the other hand, Trump had a Tweet a while ago that was rude, so he’s worse than Hitler.
Albright seems to show some decent sense. The do-gooders ... not so much.
On May 12, 1996, Madeleine Albright (then U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations) appeared on a 60 Minutes segment in which Lesley Stahl asked her "We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, are is the price worth it?" and Albright replied "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price, we think the price is worth it."
Wow...she unwittingly describes ANTIFA and BLM to a tee.

Not taking advice other than noting her discussion from an interview 1.5 years ago and how it resounds against today’s events.
