President Trump's Path to Victory, Should He Take It - Not Bush v Gore 2000: Hayes 1876

Win North Carolina. Win or come close in Arizona. Challenge fraudulent votes in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania (assuming PA is lost too). This is nothing like Bush v Gore in 2000. Gore never pursued fraudulent votes in Florida because they were all his. In 1876, Florida, Louisiana and South Carolina were rife with fraud and threats of violence against Republicans. Electoral College delegations were submitted for both parties as the states' votes remained in dispute until March when the matter was settled by a special committee.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: biden; election2020; electionfraud; trump
It seems pretty obvious but here it is anyway.

The GOP is going to stab Trump in the back and send Biden electors in the stolen states unless they’re stopped.

Right. Begin with Pennsylvania. Your state.

Then find and ping NC, Georgia, MI, AZ state lists.

Give all each state list of delegates, republicans, state legislators, senators, congressmen.

Start calling. Get busy. Most Freepers from 20 years ago who would have done this already are dead or inactive.

Get going.

Dems asked for a new election due to fraud and received one.

the hayes tilden deal has a bad aura about it at least among historians iirc.

imho the longer the current situation festers the more time the infection has to spread. in an ideal world, a quick direct appeal to the ussc would be made and the ussc would declare the entire election void due to widespread fraud, and clear a path for the house to take a state caucus by state caucus vote. the ussc should tofft and step up to the task because it ducked the vote fraud issue a couple of times before the election. leaving it to myriad lower courts is like playing with russian roulette at the national level. several lower courts could decide correctly but the nation risks civil war unless all of the lower courts do so.

a side note, someone should spend some serious time reverse engineering the well oiled machine that is obviously behind the vote fraud coup. we’re talking several years (not months) in the making, using several different techniques, in several different states. that btw involves a huge expenditure of money. these guys are not going to be sitting still waiting around for the good guys to get off the ground and dust themselves off. imho it is almost a guarantee that they have the next few steps mapped out carefully in advance. biden is already set to make a major announcement today. undoubtedly he will demand trump concede and complete cooperation from trump to brief a biden presidency transition team. undoubtedly the MSM will back the request as reasonable, even before any results are certified. this will only serve to solidify the liberal camp public opinion against trump. the good guys need to come in with (legal) guns blazing to regain the initiative.

it’s disheartening to read that a trump family spokesperson has assumed the task of educating the public about just how bad the georgia situation currently is— an unanticipated flip flop forced upon the good guys in the space of (iirc) about 48 hours. the liberals are laughing about guiliani and bannon leading the countercharge (at least partially justified given the circumstances imho). where is trump’s legal A team? imho it had better show up soon, and with a believable and simple plan to get the public trust in our nation’s institutions back on track, and quickly.

The best comparison is Grover Cleveland. Trump will come back next time.

If the election goes into the House, it will be the new House electing the President, and each state delegation gets one vote. Right now 26 states have a majority of republicans in the House. Not sure how that will shake out in the new House, which will decide. Senate elects the Vice President, each senator gets one vote.

If the ‘pubbies hold a majority of the delegations in 26 states, and the majority in the senate, then (assuming no backstabbing RINOS) Trump is reelected and so is Pence.

If the Dims hold a majority of delegations in the House and the ‘pubbies hold the senate, you get Biden and Pence — not a bad outcome given Joe’s obvious cognitive decline.

If the Pubbies hold a majority of delegations in the House and the Dims take the senate, you get Trump and Harris....

Right now, the House looks like it will be R-213 and D-222 with only 2 flips to D. I haven’t checked but that can’t hurt many state delegations.

NYT election page.
Click House
R-190 called
Go down the list and add all Republican leading but not called.
You get R-214.
I checked the close ones with votes still to count and where.
I don’t think UT-4 will hold.
That makes it R-213.

1876 is probably not a good analogy. All available evidence indicates that Tilden actually was likely legitimately elected and had it stolen via political machinations after the fact. Yes, there was voter intimidation going on, but the majority of legal ballots in the disputed states were indeed cast for Tilden. Hayes won the election primarily because the former Confederate states were able to strike a deal to allow their votes to go for Hayes in return for removal of Federal troops from those states, effectively ending Reconstruction and allowing the Dems to retake control of the state governments. Southernn Dems valued control of the state governments much more than the Presidency, and almost a century of racial discrimination and segregation was the ultimate result.

So sure, if all you care about is winning, maybe 1876 is a good model. If you actually care about winning legitimately and preserving America and its system of government, 1876 is probably not the election to point to. I want to see Trump re-elected, but only if he actually did legitimately win. I don’t want to see him win the way Hayes did in 1876.
