Say what you will, the 80's were an interesting time musically, post up your memories of the 80s.
Killing Joke~ 80's
Thriller
I took my then to be wife to see the video release of Thriller, it was a major event. LOL
•Pat Metheny Group - Offramp 1981, one of my favs
Metheny Mayes were amazing
Also, Jean Luc Ponty had 3 great albums in the early 1980’s; Civilized Evil, Mystical Adventures and Individual Choice
Charlene--Johnny Staton & the Feathers (1989)

For all the commies, traitors, and anti-American riff-raff out there as well as those that come on this board from time to time to stir things up.
So when are they suing Courtney Love over her late husband stealing the riff?
The music of the 80’s is impossible for me to span alone.
Music seems so very boring to me today.
Other great albums, from Joe Jackson, Night and Day; Bob Marley, Uprising;
Joe Jackson was awesome.
Poor Killing Joke, they could have been huge.
Best producers you could ask for but Jaz still doesn’t get the Joke 40 years later. Every numerist / occultist ive ever met is batshot crazy to the core.
Saw him in a front row table in one of his first shows in a nightclub in Rennselaer NY called The Hullabaloo, also saw the Police there in what I think was their first show. https://www.facebook.com/PublicMediaWMHT/posts/the-hullabaloo-a-music-venue-in-rensselaer-hosted-such-bands-as-the-police-dire-/10157676370154661/
I’m going to explore that.
Jean Luc Ponty played with Zappa. He was great, but I have never listened to his other work.
Thanks for that.
Pulling up Apple Music on my Sonos system and chillin’ to JLP now.
Don’t you know that it’s different for girls.
